Filming Wildlife: Rescue to Release
In partnership with the South Carolina Aquarium and Explore Charleston, we created a short film inside the Sea Turtle Care Center, following the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured sea turtles along South Carolina’s coast. Over several months, we documented the emotional journey of conservation efforts led by Melissa Ranly and the dedicated aquarium team, capturing everything from critical admissions to triumphant ocean releases. The film offers an intimate look at the passion and perseverance required to protect these ancient mariners and the ecosystems they call home.

"The Vive Media team brought our brand to life with stunning videography. Their creativity and intentionality is evident in every step of their process and we could not be happier with the final product. We are confident our audience will feel inspired by the content they have produced for us."

By utilizing minimal footprint lighting setups and adapting to low-light, high-reflection glass environments, we capture intimate conservation stories without disrupting the animals or the daily guest experience.
We build cross-platform content packages from our production timelines. For this project, we delivered a core documentary short film, a 30-second broadcast campaign, a 15-second social media cutdown, and a fully color-graded archival footage library for ongoing multi-year marketing use.
We lean into sensory-driven, human-centric storytelling that anchors the viewer to a specific mission. By partnering closely with internal teams and organizations like South Carolina Aquarium and Explore Charleston, we ensure the narrative meets exact broadcast compliance while retaining real, unscripted emotional weight.
